FOR A SPECIAL FRIEND

The holidays are coming quickly but it’s important to remember birthdays for special friends and family.  Today’s card is a step away from fall and holiday colours for a special friend’s birthday.

How about that Melon Mambo?!  We’ve experienced frost up here already so this is a last sigh for those beautiful summer flowers!  It took 3 stamp sets to get this card just right but I do like the way it turned out.  I used the “masking” technique to create the bevy of flowers on the image panel.  (Just stamp the image onto a post-it note, cut it out and use it to cover your stamped image so you can add more).
