Yay, it’s Friday and time to play along with the Stamp-A-Holic’s inspiration challenge. Team member Nancy Dawson inspired us with this picture.
I chose to use Wild Wasabi, Not Quite Navy, Daffodil Delight and a little bit of Cherry Cobbler for my card. Sorry Nancy, couldn’t quite get the Concord Crush in there.
We have 15 minutes to complete our card and this one took 14 minutes and 48 seconds – whew, just in time!
I pulled the set, Funky Four from the shelf and heat embossed those cute trees with a great new Embossing Powder in Wild Wasabi! This powder will be available to you on Sunday, May 1st from the Summer Mini catalogue.
The flowers were colored direct to stamp with Stampin’ Write Markers in Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and Cherry Cobbler. After I stamped them on cardstock I cut them out with the 1″ Circle Punch. They were layered with a 1-1/4″ circle of Daffodil Delight.
That great background paper comes from the package of Woodland Walk Designer Paper.
I think this is such a cute card and when I’m ready to send it will add a happy verse on the inside of the card.
