Good morning and thank you for visiting today. Did you know that the Summer Mini Catalogue will be gone soon? This card shows just one of the stamp sets that will no longer be available after August 31st.
It’s called “Happy Greetings” and can be found on page 26. An original of this card can be found on that page as well, because I CASED it. CASE means “Copy and Share Everything” and I did just that.
It starts with a card base of Peach Parfait cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5-1/2″. I used the Big Shot and the Flower Garden Embossing Folder to add the textured detail on the fold.
I adhered a piece of designer paper from the Subtles Patterns pack onto Confetti White card stock and then stamped the greeting in Early Espresso classic ink.
The flower from Fabulous Florets was stamped onto Confetti White card stock with Rose Red Classic ink and then cut out with paper snips. The stem is a 1/8″ strip of Wild Wasabi and the leaf was created using a petal cut with the 5-Petal Flower punch.
That cool scalloped edge on the art piece was created by adhering Rose Red pieces cut with the Postage Stamp punch. Ingenious of Stampin’ Up! to do that!!!!
