Welcome! I hope you had a wonderful weekend with lots of time for stamping. I spent Sunday in my stamp room and am starting the week with a birthday card created from the sketch at Stamping 411.
….and the Color Challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.
…. and, here is what I came up with.
I decided to create my own designer paper by using the images in the “Bordering On Romance” stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalogue(page 11). Flower-y isn’t it?!
I used Blender Pens to color the flower images and added the birthday sentiment from “Happiest Birthday Wishes(Idea Book & Catalogue page 10). Check out the pretty brad – it’s from the Designer Printed Brads 2011-2013 In Color Collection(page 199 big catty).
RECIPE:
Stamp Sets: Bordering on Romance(125482), Happiest Birthday Wishes(122617)
Card Stock: Island Indigo, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Ink: Island Indigo Classic(122937), So Saffron Classic(105213), Wild Wasabi Classic(109014), Stazon Jet Black(101406)
Accessories: Modern Label Punch(119849), Big Shot(113439), Magnetic Movers & Shapers Curly Label Die(114506), Punch Windows(115953), Adorning Accents Edgelits(125595), Blender Pens(102845 set of 3), 3/8″ Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon(109070), Designer Printed 2011-2013 In Color Brads(122940), Snail Adhesive(104332), Stampin’ Dimensionals(104430), Simply Scored Scoring Tool(122334)
I like the way this card turned out – can you tell I’m anxious for spring? LOL! Thanks so much for stopping by today. Take care out there and go get some stamping done!
