Today is the eve of 2011! The year of the Rabbit according to the Chinese calendar. I’m a little early with this as Chinese New Year doesn’t offically take place until Feb. 3, 2011, but the rabbit has some good predictions for this year so I just had to share them.
Accordingly it should be a placid, congenial and diplomatic year. Prosperity is also on the horizon. It all sounds good to me!
This card is my salute to the New Year.
There is a challenge over at Late Night Stampers this week to use doodling on our projects. Soooooooooooo, I pulled out my Stampin’Write Markers to draw fireworks. Then the panel was embossed with the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder. After rubbing the Embossing Buddy all over the sheet, I covered it with Versamark, sprinkled some Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder on it and then heat set it. The rabbit comes from the Forest Friends wood-mount set and the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
