Hello to you all and thank you so much for checking in on my blog. It’s been quite hectic for us lately with the move to the new house. Also, on March 19th I lost my wonderful Father. The past 2 weeks have been busy and sad all at once.
My Dad was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by all of us. He was in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WW2 and was overseas for a couple of years. It is customary for the Royal Canadian Legion to honour their veterans with Last Post at their funerals and Dad’s was no exception. It was very moving and beautiful and I’m quite sure that Dad was very appreciative of the respect the Legion Colour Party displayed for him.
So, I’ll be taking a few more days to “re-group” before posting again. In the meantime, here’s a card to, hopefully, tide you over. Please enjoy.

Soooooo very sorry for your loss…! I was pregnant with our son when we lost our dad…none the less it hurts just the same. You take all of the time you need – to get settled in your new home and to start to adjust to the loss of your beloved father…. My condolences to you and your family!
