A big Saturday howdy to you! Today I’m playing with a really, really cute stamp from the A La Carte section of the big Catalogue. It’s called “Elebration” and you can find it on page 18.
Paired with Big Top Birthday Designer Series paper and Happiest Birthday Wishes, he make the cutest greeting! Don’t you think?
This is a different take on the Side Step Card called the “Center Step Card”! You can find the pattern for this on Connie Babbert’s blog.
I started with a card base of Tempting Turquioise and added strips of Daffodil Delight. Strips from the Big Top Birthday designer paper add a bright and cute appeal.
The elephant was stamped onto a 2″ wide strip of Whisper White using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. You can see that the image just fits – whew! I did a little shading with a Blender Pen and Basic Gray Classic ink and added Real Red and Daffodil Delight accents using the same technique.
That fun and cheery greeting comes from the “Happiest Birthday Wishes” stamp set. It just seemed to work perfectly with that happy elephant!
