Well, I’m taking a big step away from romance today because it’s WORD Wednesday! So today’s card is very different. Here we go!
The WORD is “HUGS” and today’s letter is “U”. I only have 2 stamp sets that start with that letter, Upsy Daisy and Under the Stars, so had to make a decision….. flowers or animals. Well, the animals won with “Under the Stars”(page 89 Idea Book).
Yes, I took the word “stars” literally with the background paper from Big Top Birthday designer series paper and used the sketch layout from Stamping 411.
It’s a pretty simple card with lots of use of punches. Can you guess the short story behind it? Hint – check out the mosquito!
I chuckled the whole time while creating this one. Too funny!
In order to get just the bear’s head, I did some masking with tape and also stamped the raccoon twice so I could cut out his tail and attach it over the edge of the punched square.
