It’s WORD Wednesday on Cynthia’s Creative Cuts!
I’ve been featuring stamp sets that start with the letters in the word – SPRING. Today’s letter is “I” and the stamp set is “I {Heart} Hearts”. (This stamp set is a part of the Demonstrator Starter Kit – read on to find out more.)
Today, we are celebrating a wedding with a card filled with hearts!
I started with a panel of Blushing Bride card stock and randomly stamped the heart image using Melon Mambo classic ink. Then I decided that the edge needed to be “prettied up” and created a scalloped border with the Scallop Trim Border punch. The 3 hearts in the center were stamped with Versamark and then heat embossed with a cool new item from the Summer Mini catalogue – it’s Melon Mambo Embossing Powder! Yea!
I cut the hearts out with paper snips and matted them on whisper white hearts cut with the Full Heart Punch and sponged the edges with Blushing Bride classic ink.
The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with that cool new embossing powder as well and then cut out with the Full Heart Punch. A little “love” heart was added(it’s a wedding after all) and a Rhinestone finishes it off with a little sparkle.
