IN THE COUNTRY

As we live out in the country, we can really see that the leaves are starting to turn colour.  It’s waaaay too soon in my mind, but nature rules so there you go!  I do love the rich colours of fall and that is what I’m trying to show on today’s card.

It took 2 stamp sets to get it done – Country Home(147678) and the Forever Fern Bundle(154094)!  I first stamped the leaf images with Crushed Curry ink and then used a Stampin’ Sponge to dab on a little Cajun Craze so they would look as authentic as possible.  The new Brushed Metallic cardstock(153524) is beautiful to I used it to stamp the jug.  TIP:  stamp straight down, being careful not to “wiggle” the stamp as that paper is a little slippery.  I did use the Heat Tool to help it set the ink before cutting out the image.
