Inspiration is everywhere and especially in the new Stampin’ Up Idea Book & Catalogue. That’s why it’s called “Idea” book! After being away on holidays I’ve needed to get back in the groove so have been checking out all the great inspiration from this book, and today’s card comes from that.
There is a really cute 3D project at the top of page 100 and I used the elements in it to create this greeting card. I’m so glad that Stampin’ Up put “Nature Walk” into the new catalogue.
Isn’t that Designer paper lovely? It’s called Mocha Morning Specialty and has several great patterns and textures in it.
I stamped the bird using Soft Suede Classic ink and then highlighted the darker areas using Cajun Craze classic ink and an Aqua Painter.
The leaves were cut using “Little Leaves” Sizzlit and the Very Vanilla background was embossed using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. After I assembled the “vignette” I attached it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Note: Use Multi Purpose Liquid Glue to adhere pieces like the Dotted Scallop ribbon border. It’s easier to place small dots for maximum adherence and less leakage.
