Good Morning and welcome. It’s Friday already and you know what that means….the Stamp-a-holics 10-Min challenge! These are the colours we are working with today. Yes, retiring colours and I decided to go for a soft and vintage look today. Now I will start off by saying that this was well over 10 minutes – more like 20 actually, but I really liked the way it was coming together so went with it. My first attempt was to do the Cracked Glass Technique on the main image panel – but – you need a little longer that 10 minutes to do all the layers. So, I put that idea aside for another time.
I first stamped the small background stamp in Creamy Caramel Classic ink and then over-stamped with the flower and butterfly images. The image on the Sage Shadow panel was stamped with randomly with Versamark. All the card edges were sponged with Creamy Caramel to give the vintage feel. The sentiment comes from the Great Friend stamp set. I punched 4 scallop ovals and layered them on the back of the wide oval and sponged all those edges as well. A length of Very Vanilla satin ribbon finishes the card.
Here’s the Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Charming, Great Friend
Cardstock: Cameo Coral, Barely Banana, Sage Shadow, Very Vanilla
Accessories: 5/8″ Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Wide Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Stamping sponge
Now, head on over to Carole’Anne’s blog and give it a whirl. Thanks for visiting, have a wonderful weekend and we’ll see you all on Monday.
Cheers;
