Good Morning and welcome. I hope you all had a great weekend. Birthday’s are on my mind lately – we have a few coming up – so I am building up my stash.
I love the new Newsprint Designer Series Paper and found this page which shows the title “The Dictionary of Gardens”. It lists definitions for different plants and this piece was an interesting definition of pruning. The label “orange” just called for orange flowers. I used the new set “Friends Never Fade” in clear mount, stamped the flower image in Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink, cut them out and added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to their centers. A few leaf sprays, some ribbon, an appropriate sentiment and the card is done.
Here’s the recipe:
Stamp Set: Friends Never Fade clear-mount
Cardstock: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Newsprint Designer Series Paper
Ink: Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink, Stazon Jet Black
Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 2-way Glue Pen, 1-1/4″ Striped Grosgrain Basic Black, Hodgepodge Hardware Styled Vanilla, Sweetest Stem Embosslit, Big Shot
There you go, you can check out this great Designer Series Paper here (page 174) and I’m sure you won’t be able to resist the other beautiful new designs as well.
Thanks so much for visiting today. Take care and we’ll talk again tomorrow.
Cheers;
Love that you matched the newsprint DSP with the theme of the card. Very creative. Good job.
