This card is made with the beautiful Deck the Halls Designer Series paper(120810, pg 18) with its wonderfully warm Vintage look. With paper this beautiful, you need little else to make your creation “speak!
I did add the bell image from Bells & Boughs(121142, pg 19) and the verse from Occasional Quotes(120142 Idea Book pg. 14). The bell image was stamped on Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke. I used a blender pen and Crumb Cake classic ink to add some colour to the bells and cut out the ribbon piece and the holly leaves and pieced them to the main image.
The sentiment stamp has an interesting shape that I wanted to use on this card(see picture below), so I lightly traced around it and then inked it up with Early Espresso Ink and carefully stamped it into the shape I had drawn. This piece was then cut out, sponged around the edges with Crumb Cake classic ink, matted and adhered to the card front. RECIPE: Stamp Sets: Bells & Boughs(121142), Occasional Quotes(120142) Cardstock: Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper(120810) Ink: Early Espresso classic, Crumb Cake classic Accessories: 5/8″ Early Espresso Satin Ribbon, Stampin’ Sponge
