Good Wednesday and welcome to Act 2 of Word Wednesday! I am highlighting a stamp set that starts with the letters in “WORD” and today the set is, Occasional Quotes. You can see the first post here.
I also thought it would be fun to play with ovals – after all the letter “O” is an oval itself – he, he.
Here is the card;
I also had fun playing with A Slice of Life, which is a Hostess set from the Occasions Mini catalogue.
The card base is Old Olive and it was brightened up with a piece of Daffodil Delight and the cheery Ice Cream Parlor & Quick Accents pack from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.
The baby onsie was stamped on a previously cut oval shape with Stazon Jet Black ink and then colored using Stampin’Write Markers. Tip: Stazon is best for coloring as it won’t smudge.
Of course, the sentiment needed to be stamped on an oval shape too, and doesn’t it say it all! The ribbon and buttons come from the Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon & Button pack, also a Free choice from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.
