Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends and Happy Columbus Day to my American friends. I hope your weekends have been filled with happy times.
We had a wonderful turkey dinner yesterday with our family – we include our dogs when we all get together so it was certainly lively! Dogs and kids – a fun combination!
However, before all the business started I took some time to create a card using this Color Inspiration from Stamping 411.
I really liked this combination and created a thank you card with the “Just Believe” stamp set that can be found on page 109 of the Idea Book & Catalogue.
Looks good with that “pop” of Calypso Coral – don’t you think? I added a small piece of designer paper from “Beyond the Garden” and embossed the So Saffron piece with the Big Shot and Flower Garden Embossing Folder.
I stamped the label image from this set 3 times using So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Baja Breeze classic ink and then cut out the flower bouquets in So Saffron and Baja Breeze. They were attached one on top of the other using Mini Glue Dots.
In order to get the same shape of the label image for a mat, I traced around the stamp itself and cut it out. LOL – where there’s a will, there’s a way!
