LIGHTHEARTED LEAVES FOR FALL

I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  We had a family get-together yesterday to pose for some family photos and enjoy dinner.  It was so much fun and my hubby very obligingly left all the fallen leaves where they were so we could use them as a great backdrop for our photos.  So I think that was what inspired the card for today!

I used the Lighthearted Leaves Photopolymer stamp set and instead of inking up the stamps, I sponged the colour on to get that muted look.  Old Olive, Tangelo Twist and Tip Top Taupe make up the 3 colours used on each leaf and then they were cut out with the Leaflets Framelits Dies which coordinate perfectly with this stamp set.

Do you see that small piece of the Burlap ribbon?  I cut it down to size with Craft Scissors and attached it with Glue Dots.
