LILIACS IN A ROW

Hi, today’s card features some pretty lilacs with a little artistic license.

The artistic license is because I used Darling Duckling ink for a couple of them and I’m not sure that lilacs do come in shades of yellow.  However, I think that it is ok if you want to add an assortment of colour:)

I used the Pretty Florals stamp set(165177) for the flowers and the sentiment comes from The Right Words stamp set(165316).

The panel the lilacs were stamped on was cut with the Textured Notes Dies(165555).  It looked a little too plain on the white card base, so I used the Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder to add texture.  It’s easier if you cut a piece of Basic white to 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ to emboss and then adhere it to the card base.  Then you have a firmer card that will sit more firmly when opened.
