Good Morning;
The other day, someone asked me what my favourite colour combination is. My answer, normally green and yellow because they remind me of life and laughter. When it comes to Stampin’Up colours though, the choice is much harder. They have the colours grouped so handily in Colour Families that it is difficult to choose. I can create a project using any colour combination and like the end result, so, I’ll have to defer my decision for a while and get back to you.
How about you? Leave a comment at the end of this post and tell me your favourite colour combination. You’ll be in the draw for a free stamp set. I’m waiting………
This card came together quite quickly. I am playing along with Kris Kilcoyne’s “Monochromatic” challenge this week, and I rather like this combination of Kraft and Soft Suede with a touch of Very Vanilla. You can check out Kris’ blog here to play along.
Recipe:
Stamp: Summer by the Sea
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Kraft, Very Vanilla
Ink: Soft Suede Classic
Accessories: Big Shot, Ovals Die, Wide Oval Punch, Distressing Tool, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Corduroy Chocolate Chip Buttons, 1/2″ Soft Suede Polka-dot grosgrain ribbon
Did you know that you can still purchase some items from the Holiday Mini? Yes, Stampin’ Up is carrying over some items. They will also be included in the new Idea Book and Catalogue coming out in July. If you missed out on Shimmer Paint and would really like to get some, send me an email and I’ll get the list of items to you. I’d love to show them on this blog, but I am technology challenged and cannot figure out how to add the list to this post, “sigh”.
Also, checkout my Calendar on the right side bar – All classes are listed through to June and I have openings available for your Workshop. I’m eager to share my love of all things stamping with you, so give me a call, I’d love to hear from you.
That’s it for today, have a good one!
Cheers;
