ONE LAYER CARD

Hi there.  I’m ending the week with something I usually never make, a one-layer card.

I find it difficult to make one-layer cards as I always worry about getting things done right and straight, but, what the heck, it’s worth a try anyway!

I started by making a mask from Basic white cardstock with one of the square dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies(159183).  Then, using a small Blending Brush added the Cloud Cover ink from the Classic Stampin’ Spot small assortment(166716) onto the card base.

To keep the edge clean, a Post-it note was using while stamping the leaf sprays as well as the textured circle in Secret Sea ink .  The online exclusive Textured Notes stamp set(165548) was the go-to for these images.

The reason for this one-layer card was to play along with the new sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches.

Just a note:  The new InColor Cloud Cover ink pad is not available while Stampin’ Up! improves the ink quality, so I recommend that you get the Ink Spot Assortment while waiting for the ink pad to be available.
