Owls are noted as being wise but they are also sometimes a part of the excitement for Halloween. I chose to use the owl image in the Spooky Cat stamp set to create this “owl’oween card.
And there he is, sitting on that branch sending wishes to all of the Halloween people out there!
The Spooky Night designer series paper makes the perfect background for him don’t you think? I’m following along with The Paper Players sketch for this one and used a dessert plate to cut the rounded edge of the paper.
I stamped the owl with Smoky Slate ink and then overstamped his face using Basic Black. It should stand out so versamark ink and clear emboss powder stand up for the job! I just think this card is too cute!
