Happy Monday! I thought that I would start the week with this card created with the Painted Harvest Bundle and matching Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper.
This card involved 3 different techniques, wow! Ok, technique number 1 is heat embossing. I felt that the flower looked a little too washed out so added some Clear Emboss Powder to brighten it up.
Technique number 2 is masking. In order to have the flower stand out, I first stamped it onto a post-it note and then cut it out. Then it was easy to add the fern sprays so they would look like they are on the back of the flower.
Technique number 3 is “partial die-cutting” which means that after the stamped image was finished, I laid one of the circle dies over it and marked the edges lightly with a pencil. After doing that I carefully cut around the fern sprays so I could have them sitting over top of the die while the circle was being cut through the Big Shot.
Then, it was just a matter of adding the extra leaves and the greeting to finish things off.
