Happy Labour Day to you all. I hope you are having a great weekend so far and have had some time to yourself just to stamp.
I played with Stampin Royalty’s challenge this weekend. We are to use Pearls and Rhinestones on our project and I think this card fits the bill nicely. I used Stamping 411’s sketch to help me out along with Wonderfully Worn background stanp (118533, pg 141) and Vintage Vogue(118598, pg 126).
I played with colour for this one, starting out with Soft Suede and Crumb Cake and adding In Colors, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz. The squiggly background gave me a bit of trouble – what to use? Well, Vellum cardstock seemed to work. I used The Tearing Edge to distress the edges and crumpled it up and then sponged Soft Suede classic ink around the edges. A bit of Victoria Crochet Trim and the required Pearls and Rhinestones, and we’ll call it finished.
