Wow, Thursday already – the days are passing by so quickly – but I’m getting ready to start sending out Christmas greeting cards to friends and family.
Here’s one I created using the “Pines & Poinsettias” stamp set from the Holiday Mini catalogue.
I used the color inspiration from The Paper Players and found that it works perfectly with the “Letters to Santa” designer series paper!
I kept it pretty simple, not too many layers to make mailing a little easier. I also tried my hand at pleating the designer paper and am quite happy with the way it turned out.
There was a little too much plain showing on the Always Artichoke mat, and a quick run through the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder fixed that! Add a couple of sprays of “Little Leaves” and some Dazzling Diamonds glitter and we’ll call it good!
RECIPE:
Stamp Set: Pines & Poinsettias(123762)
Card Stock: River Rock, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper(122349)
Ink: Riding Hood Red Classic(111836)
Accessories: Big Shot(113439), Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder(116824), Little Leaves Sizzlit Die(114511), Simply Scored(122334), Dazzling Diamond Glitter(102023), 2-Way Glue Pen(100425), Paper Snips(103579), Stampin’ Dimensionals(104430), Mini Glue Dots(103683)
How are you doing with your Christmas card creating? If you need a little help, it’s not too late to host your own stamping party! As the hostess you can earn and extra $45 in hostess dollars with a qualifying party. Check it out here and then give me a call or an email so we can set your date. It’ll be tons of fun!
