Today’s card features the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die done up in 3D.
I found a card using this technique on Pinterest(see my page) and just had to Case it! The effect was achieved by stamping the big blossom from the Birthday Blooms stamp set twice – once onto the background paper of Whisper White cardstock and then again onto a scrap piece. I placed the scrap piece over top of the stamped image to get an idea of where the thinlit greeting should lie.
Then, it was just a matter of cutting out the Birthday greeting and popping it up onto the card front using tiny pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals. The picture is angled so you can get a better idea of the placement of the greeting.
The stamped image was coloured “direct to stamp” using our Stampin’ Write Markers in Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Sweet Sugarplum.
Here’s the list of products used for this card.
