Happy Monday to you. I hope you had a good weekend and were able to spend some time stamping.
Spending Saturday at the Fort St. John Bridal Fair has weddings on my mind, so I created a wedding greeting card for the Pals Paper Arts color challenge.
Wedding Colours for 2011 are tending towards bright and rich, so Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz and Baja Breeze are the perfect choice. Challenging to put together, but a good choice for a wedding theme.
I haven’t used Messages for Mom in a long time so brought it out into the light along with Everything Nice.
My Big Shot is the major workhorse in my studio and he was up to the job yet again. I first cut the ovals with the Originals Oval Die and, using the stamp-a-ma-jig and Stazon Jet Black ink was able to place the image and sentiment exactly where I wanted them.
The flower image was coloured with Stampin’Write Markers in Baja Breeze and Pear Pizzazz. Those tiny stars were coloured with the Perfect Plum marker.
The Big Shot and Framed Tulips Embossing folder united to make a pretty border on the Perfect Plum piece.
