Good Morning and welcome to Friday! Today’s Stamp-a-holic’s challenge is a colour challenge.
We are to use Early Espresso, Poppy Parade and Very Vanilla for our creation. I chose to make a card today and, the time limit has changed to 15 minutes! Let’s see how I did with the extra 5 minutes.
The poinsetta image from Bells & Boughs(love this set) was first stamped with Always Artichoke and then over-stamped with Versamark, using the extremely handy Stamp-a-ma-jig(you Need this tool!). I sprinkled some Clear Embossing Powder over top and then heat set it. The flowers were coloured using a Blender Pen and the Poppy Parade Classic Ink pad.
Handy Tip: Before you use the Versamark for heat embossing, be sure to rub the Embossing Buddy over your image. This helps to keep the Embossing Powder only where you want it.
I just had to add some Glimmer Brads to finish and this is what took me over the time limit. Darn, 17 minutes & 19 seconds! Not good! Will definately have to do better next time.
