Good Morning and a happy Wednesday to you. I’m playing along with Create with Connie and Mary this week. They have a Colour Challenge happening and Wow, what a collection of colours!
We have Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and Basic Black. I decided to start with a Basic Black card base and go from there. I tucked a piece of Daffodil Delight into the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and ran it through the Big Shot. Then cut a scallop circle using the Scallop Circles Die #2 and embossed it with the Square Lattice as well. The Sizzlets Little Leaves came in handy for the Wild Wasabi. The flowers and bird came from the new Level 1 Hostess set, Punch Potpourri. I don’t have the Two-step Bird Punch, so cut the little guy out using my paper snips after stamping him in Pacific Point on Bashful Blue cardstock. (I just might have to invest in that punch).I really like the sentiments in Occasional Quotes and found a very suitable one for this card and a strip of 5/8″ Basic Black ribbon finishes things off.
