Good Thursday morning. It’s time for another scrapbook page and I have a 6 x 6 for you using 2 of our retiring colours.
This little page will highlight a special 3 x 4 photo for you in Brocade Blue with accents of Sage Shadow. I used the new clear-mount sets, Watercolor Trio and In A Word on this page and really like the soft look. The stems and leaves image from Watercolor Trio(page 16 Summer Mini) were inked up with my Sage Shadow Stampin’Write marker and stamped. I then inked only the flower image with the Brocade Blue marker. I wanted a little shadow on the flowers, so inked them again with the Bashful Blue marker. (Make sure that you clean the stamp well between each colour application).
The sentiment from In A Word(page 10 Summer Mini) was inked up with Brocade Blue and placed directly on the page. A little 1/4″ Sage Shadow grosgrain ribbon adds the accent and you’re done.
Why don’t you go and make a page yourself. It’s fun and will give you a lovely keepsake for that special photo that needs a home.
