Every so often one needs to send a sympathy card so I created this one to have ready.
I haven’t used the beautiful Rose Wonder stamp set and matching Rose Garden Thinlits so the layout that Freshly Made Sketches posted made the selection easy!
I chose this colour scheme from the Colour Inspiration Challenge and that is why we have Dapper Denim, Sahara Sand, Basic Gray(greeting and label) and, of course, Whisper White.
If you look very closely, you will see that I used the Woodland Embossing Folder to give a little texture to that leaf spray just above the rose.
TECHNIQUE TIP: How did I get the pieces of the rose to stay together? Well, I first cut out a small circle and then after the rose had been cut out, and carefully holding the rose cut-out, glued it to the back of the flower. That way it all stayed together to look like one piece. Then, it was easy to cut the frame and glue it to the rose as an outline. Make sure to use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen(138309) to attach the frame,
