ROSES AND PEARLS

Happy Monday to you. As promised, I have a card project to share with you today. The Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Challenge for this week is a good one, so this card is my project. I took my inspiration from the blue colour and the pearls for this. The rose image was first stamped with Marina Mist Classic Ink and then, using the stamp-a-ma-jig, Versamark was stamped over top. I heat embossed with Clear Emboss Powder and then watercoloured using the Aqua Painter.

The Whisper White panel was embossed using the Big Shot and the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder. The folder will be available to you from the Occasions Mini Catalogue effective January 4, 2011.

The bow was made with the help of Lee Conrey’s Magic Bow Maker and embellished with a string of pearls. I underlined the “you” in the sentiment with a string of pearls as well.

I really like this card and the best part is that it can be adapted to any occasion just by changing the sentiment. How great is that!
