SIMPLY A CARD

Welcome to you.  Today I’m simply playing with colouring and stuff.

I used the Mixed Florals Bundle(164642) and backed it up with a piece from the Beautiful Bokeh 6″x6″ designer series paper(164607).

A combination of Calypso Coral and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends was used for the blooms with a touch of Pecan Pie and Medium Deep Combo Stampin’ Blends for the flower centres.  I add a little Azure Afternoon to the tiny Balmy Blue flowers as well.  And, a pretty bouquet is not complete without a visit from a trio of ladybugs.

The Impressions Abloom dies were used to create the oval opening.  I kept the oval-shaped cut-out and adhered the flower bundle to it and then used small strips of Tear and Tape adhesive to hold it in place in the opening.  The the entire 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece was added it to the card base.
