Good Saturday morning to you all! I hope you have some good things planned for the weekend. We’re doing some spring cleaning and, of course, I’ve set aside some stamping time.
Here’s today’s card using another piece of the lovely Springtime Vintage Designer paper.
I did some water coloring for this one with the tall flower image from Fast & Fabulous, a stamp set that is available as a Hostess choice from the Idea Book & Catalogue.
The image was first stamped on Very Vanilla card stock with Old Olive classic ink and then I over-stamped using Versamark and the handy-dandy Stamp-a-ma-jig. I sprinkled Clear Emboss powder over it all then heat set it.
I used Old Olive and Baja Breeze classic ink pads and the Aqua Painter to add the color to the flowers, leaves and stem. The Aqua Painter makes it so easy to watercolor like a pro!
The card base was embossed using the Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing folder from the Occasions Mini catalogue. Check it out here.
I haven’t used the Square Ice Rhinestone brads in a very long time, so wrapped a large one around the center of the bow of Baja Breeze Seam Binding.
That’s it, a simple and pretty card that I’m very happy with. I’ll add a greeting on the inside for the recipient.
