SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW

Hello and a Happy Tuesday to you. I have some more new colours to show you today. I’m using the Saturday Sketch 158 from Stamping 411 for this simple layout.

The card base is one of the new Core Colours, Marina Mist, paired with Blushing Bride, a new In Colour. These seemed like perfect colours for a wedding card, so out came the Blissful Bride (#120036) stamp set, which is still available in the Summer Mini Catalogue. The Pedaling Past(#120069) set from the same catalogue came to mind for the something borrowed.

I tucked the piece of Blushing Bride into the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and ran it through the Big Shot to add some texture. Stamped the sentiment and image together on a piece of Whisper White and then coloured the bycyle with my Marina Mist Stampin’ Write Marker (something blue). I used 5/8″ Whisper White Satin ribbon to tie a pretty bow and the card is complete. A simple greeting for the happy couple.
