Pretty soon the spookiest day of the year arrives – are you ready? I think I am, at least today’s card says I am!
This is what you do when you don’t have Halloween-themed stamp sets. There’s a couple of techniques involved here so let’s get started. I took a piece of Basic White cardstock and added some Pool Party ink with a Blending Brush. Then had fun with the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks(155553). I wanted the pattern to stand out so used Versamark on it, pressed it down on the inked up paper and rubbed it with a paper towel. Then added some Black Emboss powder and heat set it. It’s ok if it has empty spots, that adds to the spookiness, lol!
Then I got to work with dies – Scalloped Contours Dies(155560), Harvest Dies(156504), Beautiful Trees Dies(for the birds)(155840) and the Playful Alphabet Dies(152706). Whew, lots of gluing but it all worked out just fine!
Now, I can play along with The Paper Players Spooky challenge.
Here’s the very long list of products used.
