Good Saturday morning to you from Fort St. John, BC, Canada! I missed a family birthday last month (oops) so got to work making this cute box and card set for the birthday girl.
I re-sized the box from Sandi MacIver’s “Friends Never Fade” tutorial. The new size will fit 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ greeting cards.
I recently attended the Stampin’ Up Regional training in Vancouver, and received the “Nature Walk” stamp set for free and just had to use it for this set. The color combo is unusual for me, Sahara Sand, Pear Pizzazz and Marina Mist Designer Paper. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but as things progressed I found that it worked just fine for the theme.
You’ll notice in the bottom right corner of the picture that the greeting labels are separate. I used a great idea from StamperCamper, Mary Brown and stored them on a piece of waxed paper so the recipient can use whichever greeting they want on the card they choose to send.
