Good Morning and welcome to a brand new week! We were very busy at the race track this weekend and the weather was sunny and hot. Just right for drag racing. The car ran very well, and although hubby did not win(he came close) it was a good weekend.
There was lots of ice cream going around as well and here is a card to celebrate that wonderful concoction. I used the Sweet Scoops(#120078) set from the Summer Mini catalogue along with the Island Oasis Designer paper(#117173) for this cheerful card. Stampin’ Up’s Stamp’nWrite Markers joined the crew as well.
Sweet Scoops is a 2-step stampin’ set so you can mix and match the images and add different colours to your art piece. I used Stampin’ Up’s Versamarker Pen (#100901) on the ice cream scoops, sprinkled it with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set them. The cones were coloured direct to stamp with the More Mustard Stampin’Write Marker. I used Rose Red and Old Olive markers for the cherries. Once you have coloured the stamp, “huff” on it before you stamp the image onto your cardstock. This will give you a good, clear image. Here’s the recipe for the complete card.
RECIPE:
Stamp Set: Sweet Scoops
Cardstock: Rose Red, Very Vanilla, Island Oasis Designer Series Paper
Ink: Chocolate Chip Classic, More Mustard, Rose Red, Old Olive Stampn’Write Markers, Versamarker Pen
Accessories: Rose Red 1″ Double-stitched Grosgrain Ribbon
There you are and I hope you have a great week of stamping. Thank you for visiting and take care out there.
Cheers;

Cute, and that’s my fave ice cream flavour, too! We missed the races this weekend… curious if you know how Dan’s (OK Tire) ‘smoke show’ turn out? 😉
