Yea, it’s Friday and time for the Stampaholics Challenge. This week it is a colour challenge provided by Design Team member, Marisol Gutierrez. Great colours Marisol, thanks!
And, here is what I came up with. I needed a sketch for inspiration so loosely followed Sketch #297 from Splitcoast Stampers.

This is the time of year when we celebrate Thanksgiving so it’s always a good idea to have some Thank you cards tucked away.
To start off, I’ll confess, I turned Mr. Timer off at 15 minutes! Eeeek, things just weren’t coming together the way I first envisioned, so had to change my plan a little. That’s just the way things go sometimes.
So, I inked up the main image from Just Believe(120453) with Stampin’ Write Markers in Cherry Cobbler and Certainly Celery, huffed on the stamp and then stamped the image on Very Vanilla cardstock. The label was stamped with Cherry Cobbler Classic ink and then the sentiment was added. I had to do one word at a time to get the sentiment where I wanted it. This is called “masking” on the stamp itself. Make sure you clean your stamp before you add the extra words!
The mat for the sentiment was made by tracing around the shape of the stamp and then cutting it out with paper snips. This is very easy to do if you use Stampin’ Up!’s Clear-mount stamps. It gives a great matching shape if you don’t have the matching punch.
RECIPE:
Stamp Set: Just Believe(120453)
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Very Vanilla, Deck the Halls Designer Paper
Ink: Cherry Cobbler Classic, Chocolate Chip Classic
Accessories: 5/8″ Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon(117288), Glimmer Brads-Brights(121006), Certainly Celery Stampin’ Write Marker(105106), Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker(119681)
