Good Morning Stampers and welcome to Tip Tuesday. Today’s post shows 3 different layouts highlighting the lovely stamp set, Eastern Blooms which is found on page 108 of the Idea Book and Catalogue.
These samples use colours from the Brights and Neutrals collections.
The first has a card base of Regal Rose with the main panel being Old Olive and stamped with the small flower image in Old Olive Classic Ink. The main image makes use of our Stampin’Write Markers to colour the branch and flower images. A small length of Old Olive satin ribbon adds the finishing touch.
The second card on the right, uses a Rich Razzleberry Base with Old Olive and Whisper White. The branch image was stamped with Old Olive Classic Ink randomly on the panel. The flowers were stamped on a separate piece of paper, cut out and adhered to the image as well. The Scallop Edge punch was used on one side of the Old Olive Panel to give a little extra to the card. You could leave it as a straight edge for an equally lovely look.
This third card has an Old Olive card base with Regal Rose accents. I made use of the Paper Piercing Tool and Mat Pack (page 191 Idea Book and Catalogue) to add some interest. I used the Scallop Edge Punch for the Regal Rose panel but you could also leave a clean edge here as well.
The Scallop Edge Punch can be found on page 186 of the Idea Book and Catalogue. You can add that special touch to your cards for just a $22.95 investment in this versatile tool!
