TRY THIS BRICK WALL TECHNIQUE

I’ve been working on trying different techniques this week and found today’s idea on Pinterest.  I used it with the Sheltering Tree stamp set to give a simple, yet pretty card.

Spring is around the corner – at least that’s my thought and I’m sticking to it!  So I used the soft and lovely Calypso Coral as the main colour.  I stamped the tree first and then used the Simple Scored board to add the “bricks”.  Smoky Slate ink and a stamping Sponge were used to add the shadow effect on each brick.

TIP:  Score a scrap piece of card stock and then cut it out (see photo) to use as a template for sponging each square.

Then, add your greeting and you have a lovely card to send to that deserving someone!
