Hello and welcome. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We are now on the count down to a brand new year so today’s card is a glittery tribute to 2012!
I’m playing along with the Create with Connie & Mary Color Challenge for this one.
So, I started with a card base of whisper white and embossed it using the Snow Burst Embossing folder from the Holiday Mini catalogue.
In my mind, one just has to have balloons on New Year’s Eve, so out came “Up, Up & Away”, the heat tool and silver emboss powder!
Each balloon was carefully cut out and attached to a sliver of Silver Glimmer paper and arranged on the card front using Mini Glue Dots.
Notice that pretty label? It was created with a new product coming in the Occasions Mini catalogue, the new Framelits Labels Collection! The happy greeting was attached using Mini Glue Dots, which I find easier to use on the glimmer paper.
