Good Morning on another clear and sunny day in northeast British Columbia.
Today’s project is using the Stamping 411 sketch for this week and I also combined the LateNightStampers Challenge #67, which is to make a Mother’s Day card.
Orchid Opulence will be retiring as of June 30, 2010 so this is a good time to get your supply.
I used the flower images from Vintage Vogue, stamped them on Vellum, cut them out and added some pretty pearls for the centers.
The sentiment is from All Holidays and was stamped on Vellum as well and layered over the background piece with Mini glue dots.
The background piece was stamped with the flourish in Orchid Opulence classic ink and then Old Olive classic ink which was stamped off before applying it to the paper.
Recipe:
Stamps: Vintage Vogue, All Holidays
Cardstock: Orchid Opulence, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, White Vellum
Ink: Rich Razzleberry Classic, Orchid Opulence Classic, Old Olive Classic
Accessories: Old Olive 5/8″ satin ribbon, Pretties Kit, Big Shot, Little Leaves Sizzlet, Heat Tool
Note: I used the heat tool to quickly dry the ink on the vellum. Don’t use it too long, a few seconds will do.
Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful Springtime day!
Cheers;
