WATERCOLOR PIZZAZZ

A Good Monday Welcome to you. I hope you all had a wonderfull weekend. Can you smell Fall in the air? It just seems to me that when August comes, the nights get a little chillier and the air takes on a crisper fall feel. How about you?

I haven’t played along with Create with Connie and Mary for a while, so got to work this week. I have been playing with 5 x 5 square cards lately and really like this layout.

I decided to go for a softer feel and pulled out my clear mount sets, Watercolor Trio(120084) and Occasional Quotes(120142). This card uses two new In Colors, Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride. I also added a piece from the Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper with an old favourite, Baja Breeze and, of course, Whisper White.

I first stamped the leaf image from Watercolor Trio in Pear Pizzazz as the background on the main circle piece. The flower image was inked up with the Baja Breeze Stampin’write Marker and then stamped randomly over the leaf sprays. (I inked up the image each time for good coverage).

The Basic Pearls are a wonderful accessory and I used them liberally around the scalloped edge.

I recently purchased Lee Conrey’s Magic Bow Maker and, Wow, it works beautifully for a perfect bow!
