Good morning and welcome! Holy cats – November is just about gone and in just 2 sleeps, we will be on the busy countdown to Christmas!
Here’s another card to add to my stash that will be going out in the mail very soon. I’m playing along with the Stamping 411 sketch 179 this week and took a little artistic licence with it.
It’s a great sketch and I decided that the Tree Trimmings set would suit.
The ornaments were first stamped with Cherry Cobbler classic in and then over stamped with Versamark. The stamp-a-ma-jig helped with placement. A little Iridescent Inc Embossing Powder was sprinkled over top and then heat set. Each ornament was cut out and placed with a Stampin’ Dimensional. The tree branches come from Lovely As A Tree and were stamped with Always Artichoke classic ink.
I also needed some Cherry Cobbler ribbon, so dyed Whisper White Satin to match.
RECIPE: Stamp Sets: Tree Trimmings(116722), Heard from the Heart(111644), Lovely As A Tree(115026) Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla Ink: Cherry Cobbler Classic(119669), Always Artichoke Classic(105219), Versamark(102283) Accesories: Heat Tool(100005), Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder(101930), Embossing Buddy(103083), 5/8″ Whisper White Satin Ribbon(114616), Big Shot(113439), Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder(120175), Stampin’ Dimensionals(104430), Paper Snips(103579), Stamp-a-ma-jig(101049)
Heat Embossing Tip: make sure to wipe your paper with the Embossing Buddy before you stamp. This makes sure that your embossing powder goes exactly where you want it!
I’m quite happy with this card and hope that you like it too. Thank you for stopping by today and please don’t leave without leaving a comment. I love to see what you have to say.
Cheers;

Cynthia — this is just fabulous. I love that you used the ornaments in place of the image boxes — way to think outside the box (literally)! Thanks so much for being a part of the Stamping 411 challenge this week! Blessings, Gretchen
