Welcome and thanks so much for stopping by on WORD Wednesday. I’ve been running a series each Wednesday to highlight different stamp sets that start with each of the letters in the Word “SPRING”. Today the letter is “N” and I have a problem – I have no stamp set that starts with that letter!!!! Eeeeeeek!!
Well, if Plan A isn’t working, go on to Plan B. So today’s project has been created using the Newsprint Designer Series Paper! Ha, you just can’t keep a determined stamper down!
So here we have the Newsprint Designer Paper, Basic Black and Pretty In Pink combined with the beautiful stamp set, Strength & Hope. For every one of these sets purchased this month, Stampin’ Up! will donate $2.00 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Please click here to find out more about this very special promotion.
Now to the card details – I first used the brand new Flower Garden Embossing Folder(from the Summer Mini catalogue) to add a bit of texture to the right side of the card.(It’s a bit hard to see but it is there under the butterfly)
I stamped the words twice on the Very Vanilla card stock with the Stamp-a-ma-jig lending a hand for placement.
That beautiful butterfly was stamped using Pretty In Pink Classic ink, over-stamped with Versamark and heat embossed to bring out the sparkle of the Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder. I cut it out using paper snips and then attached it with Stampin’ Dimensionals so it would appear to be in flight over the card.
RECIPE:
Stamp Set: Strength & Hope(123660)

Cheers;
