Yea, it’s Wednesday and time to share another creation with you using a letter from the word – SPRING! Today’s letter is “P” so I’ve chosen images from the stamp set, Pendant Park.
I’ve also been featuring the designer paper, Springtime Vintage, and it’s a part of this card as well.
Here it is…………………..
Aren’t those little squirrels so cute sitting on that bench? I stamped them onto Very Vanilla card stock with Early Espresso classic ink and then added the greeting. The leaves are from the large leafy tree image in Pendant Park. I inked up that stamp with Pear Pizzazz classic ink, stamped it off(I seem to be using this technique a lot lately)and then applied it over the squirrels and greeting.
This whole image was cut out with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch. I wanted the mat to be a little different, so cut a 2″ square of Rose Red card stock and rounded the corners with the 3/16″ Corner Punch. It is different, but I like it.
The background is two patterns from the Springtime Vintage designer paper matted on Pear Pizzazz and wrapped up with a length of 1/2″ Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding. I used my Magic Bow Maker that I purchased from Lee Conrey.
