Good Monday to you and welcome. Let’s go on a Nature Walk today – with stamps, paper and ink. Today’s card highlights two great items from the Occasions Mini catalogue, Nature Walk stamp set and Botanical Gazette Designer Series paper.

I really like the bird image in the Nature Walk stamp set and wanted to make it part of the focal point on this card. So, I started with a card base of Crumb cake and added a layer of Cherry Cobbler. The designer paper is from the Botanical Gazette designer paper package, don’t those berries look yummy!
The bird image and greeting were stamped with Not Quite Navy classic ink. The eggs were added using the “stamping off” technique with Crumb Cake classic ink. The mat looked pretty plain so I decided to pretty it up with the Eyelet Border punch and like the end result.
The ribbon and bow were prettied up with an Antique Brad and we have a great card to send as a “just because” greeting.
