2STEP STAMPING WITH AWASH WITH FLOWERS

Hello and thank you for stopping by on this Monday morning! I’ve been doing a little 2-Step stamping this weekend and have this card to share with you.

I used the sketch #CCMC140 from Create with Connie and Mary for inspiration. There was quite a bit of Big Shot action for this card and I decided that Awash with Flowers would be just the stamp set to add some springtime flowers.

This is a 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ square card that will fit perfectly in Stampin’ Up’s Medium Square Envelopes(107289) found on page 171 of the Idea Book and Catalogue.

I got the color combination, called “creative combination” from our excellent tool, the Color Coach(121620) found on page 165 of the catalogue.

So, the colors are Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze and So Saffron with Whisper White as the neutral.

The Baja Breeze piece was embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing folder and the So Saffron Scalloped circle was cut with the Bigz Scallop Circle Die and, of course, the Big Shot. I used the Circle Scissors to cut the Whisper White circle for the middle.

Since Awash with Flowers is a 2-step stamping set, I arranged the outlines on the cardstock circle first and then inked them up with Pear Pizzazz classic ink and stamped. The 2nd step was to arrange the “insides” of the flowers and then they were inked up with Poppy Parade classic ink and stamped.

The greeting comes from a FREE Sale-A-Bration set called, Punch Bunch and several circle punches were used to create the mats.
