I skipped a day of posting to get a few extra things done as I was a little behind. There was stamping though and I’m showing off this pretty card that shows off the Sale-A-Bration set, Delicate Dahlias (156601).
It’s been a while since I used this set and I have to ask myself, “for heaven’s sake why?” This dahlia flower is just so beautiful and the 2nd-step part is “distinctive” which means it is very realistically detailed. There are no dies to go along with this set so I used the “Masking Technique” to add those leaves and fussy-cut that smaller flower for the greeting circle.
This card is intended to represent fall so I combined Pumpkin Pie and Pale Papaya for the flower and Old Olive for the leaves. This is to play along with The Paper Players Fall Fun challenge.
I also wanted to play along with the TGIF Challenge to use a Sale-A-Bration item! And I want to thank the TGIF team for picking this card as one of their favourites.
Here’s the product list for you.

Take care and Happy Stamping to you.
Your dahlia looks like it was made for our challenge photo, it matches perfectly! That cork is a great accompaniment too! Adds a nice organic touch! Thanks for playing with us this week at the Players!
Thanks so much LeAnne.
I love dahlia’s and this is gorgeous! I love the cork paper, too! So happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week!
Me too, Thanks Claire.
