HI, for today’s card, I’m going a little country!
Whenever I see gingham, I think country and since these plaid designs are from the Country gingham 6’x6′ pack(160388), it was an easy choice. I glued the gingham strips to a piece of Vellum cardstock so they could all be laid down and glued to the card front easily.
Starting off with the brightness of Tahitian Tide card base and adding that simple flower and the bright letters from the Alphabet à la mode dies(160750) bring the country out a little bit more!
This fun sketch came from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week and it did take some thinking to decide how I was going to present the striped layer.
